shadowofworlds‘Shadow of Worlds’ by JD Lovil immediately hooks you with its very intriguing premise – with the existence of multiple universes, a man named Rafe can walk between worlds which makes him one among the shadow walking gods. Anyone who is fascinated by alternate worlds mixed with mythology will quickly realize how distinctive the concept is. Although the concept is not entirely new, the execution is just wonderfully done, particularly Rafe’s interaction with other characters. The author seems to have held back with details of the worlds, but it could’ve been done on purpose to avoid muddling up the story.

The narrative style shows the author’s deep interest in the multi-verse lore and as such, has created a fantastic alternate reality that may or may not make you believe that there are other worlds out there, but it will definitely make you think of the possibility.
